B.P. Mandal College of Engineering, Madhepura is one among-st the six new Government Engineering College established in 2016 by the Government of Bihar under Department of Science &Technology. It started its first academic session (2016-17) from S.N.P.M Model High School Campus, Madhepura. The college has approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna. The new engineering college have four engineering branches- Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
